Ever wondered what the view from a lighthouse is like? Thousands of people come to look up at the famous Southwold Lighthouse sat intriguingly amongst the buildings of the town centre each year but here’s your chance to look down from the very top of it!
Each week on selected days (usually Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday) from April through to October the lighthouse is open to the public to allow you to see the inner workings, and the stunning views.
Check opening dates and times here (generally tours are between 2-4pm), then simply turn up and buy your ticket at the door – £4 for adults, £3 for children – and you’re good to go and see the sea!
Just a note, if you have particularly little ones, they won’t be able to climb the tower as you need to be 1.1m to head up so check before you go!
