Framlingham Castle, just half an hour from Firs Glamping, offers a chance to take a trip back in time to this 12th Century fortress and learn all about it’s fascinating history.
There’s plenty to see and do with an exhibition explaining the history (and of course offering the chance to dress up as one of it’s original inhabitants!), a wall walk where you can take in beautiful views of the surrounding estate land, and a shop and cafe for refreshments.
Once you’ve had your fill of history, take a walk around the “mere” or lake, for a lovely walk by the wetlands and some fantastic views of the castle on the hill.
