Firs Glamping is the perfect base for cyclists, whether you’re a keen expert or just looking for an easy ride to the pub. We’re situated just 2 minutes from the cycle route 31, part of the UK National Cycle Network.
To the north this takes you to Beccles, an 8 mile route which takes around 45 minutes, or to the south head to Southwold along a beautifully scenic route of just over 6 miles, taking about 30 minutes. (Or if you’re the short ride to the pub type, start following this route but stop when you hit the A12 after about 12 mins – you’ll have our closest pub The Plough Inn directly on your right!)
If you go the Beccles way, and are looking for a more challenging distance, route 31 meets up with a number of other official routes so you could carry on up to Reedham in the Norfolk Broads, head North West to Norwich or for the most adventurous cyclists, why not take a trip all the way up to the North Norfolk coast!
